Donation to help Birmingham hostel working with homeless men

A Birmingham hostel which works with homeless men in the city has been given a cash boost thanks to a regional builder. St Anne’s Hostel, in Moseley Street, Highgate, applied to Persimmon Homes Central to receive the money through the builder’s Community Champions scheme, which invites local groups and charities to bid for cash from a £750,000 national fund, with two donations of up to £1,000 being made locally each month.
